The
General Assembly
The General Assembly is composed of all
full and associate members. It is the only authority in matters related
to EURATEX’s statutes, the admission of new members, the approval of
budgets and accounts, the election of the President, Vice-president
and the Board and matters of major importance affecting the global interests
of the EU industry. It meets at least once a year no later than June
30th.
The Board of Directors
The
Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing EURATEX’s administration
and setting the policy. It is made up of a President, two Honorary Presidents,
two Vice-Presidents, a Vice-President Treasurer and 23 others. The Board
adopts policy guidelines and orientations to achieve the association's
goals. The Board appoints the Director General.
The President
The
President, an active industrialist, is elected by the General Assembly
for a two-year term, renewable once. He represents the association in
all official circumstances and oversees the proper management of the
association.
The Director General
The Director General manages the Secretariat
and is responsible for the implementation of policies approved by the
Board to achieve the objectives of the association.
