• Despite the Marrakech Agreement signature favouring better market access world-wide, the level playing field in the textile and clothing industry is far from being achieved European exporters are facing more trade barriers than ever to their trade.
• Information by country on market access problems in breach of WTO rules and co-ordination of Euratex actions relative to use of EU trade instruments to solve trade disputes.
• Ensure coherence in market access improvements for EU producers either on a bilateral/multilateral agreements or in the creation of Preferential or Free Trade Areas
• European companies are encouraged to inform Euratex directly when facing commercial problems in penetrating foreign markets in order to allow the European Commission to obtain a level playing field. Please contact directly the responsible person
