The European Commission recently has launched a study to assess the current situation and future development of the textile and clothing sector in Europe. The main goal is to better equip national, regional and European authorities as well as social partners and the business community more broadly to respond to structural and crisis challenges for the industry and minimise their potential socio-economic consequences
